Ultrasound Cavitation breaks down and then shrinks the fat cells in the area you’re having treated. This doesn’t affect any of the other cells nearby, and the destroyed fat cells are harmlessly eliminated by your body afterwards. Ultrasound cavitation is very effective on larger areas of fat, for example on the stomach after weight loss, stubborn hip fat and knee fat. Ultrasound Cavitation can be used as a stand-alone treatment, or you might choose to combine it with other therapies such as Shockwave or Fat Freezing.
Cavitation involves me using a hand-piece and gently gliding it over the area being treated. You might feel a warming sensation but it’s nothing to worry about and many clients say that it feels quite pleasant. You can expect a session to last around 30-60 minutes depending on the size of the treatment area. Some clients tell me that they have noticed results after just one session! However, for the best results I recommend 8-10 treatments*.
